Nikhil (Nik) Agharkar, Esq. is a seasoned counselor with nearly two decades of experience guiding individuals, families, and business owners through the complexities of wealth preservation, tax strategy, and legacy planning. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with dual degrees in Economics and Public Policy, Nik combines analytical precision with a deep understanding of law, finance, and public systems to deliver tailored, impactful solutions.
Licensed to practice law in California, New York, and New Jersey, Nik began his career helping retirees and everyday Americans navigate the intricacies of the Social Security system—work that evolved into shaping federal policy at the Social Security Administration. He has since built and sold a successful law practice, advised government entities, litigated high-stakes disputes, and helped clients structure businesses, estates, and investments to meet both personal and financial goals. He has his Series 65 license and is an independent advisor representative.
Nik is especially known for his ability to uncover powerful, often-overlooked provisions in the tax code to develop creative, compliant strategies that reduce tax burdens and support long-term financial security. His hands-on experience with tax preparation ensures these strategies are both technically sound and practically executable.
