It might have been Sun Tzu who said, 'Billing and Coding is War.'  In this more-entertaining-than-you-think presentation, Dr. Friedman will explain the Rules of Engagement.

Dr. Friedman has been teaching documentation and coding for more than 20 years and consults with insurance companies and attorneys.  In this course, he will discuss the most common problems he sees in the many chiropractic records and bills he reviews.  In order for doctors to be paid, a specific language is required to be used.  Unfortunately, many doctors and staff are unsure of some of the rules, which makes it difficult to communicate what was done in order to be paid.  In this course, Dr. Friedman will break down the quick and easy ways to document and bill for exams and why some insurance companies love to hassle us over this.  He'll also explain the difference between modalities and procedures and the various codes to describe them.   Gregg will explain the ONE code that changed in 2020 for which many doctors are unaware.  He'll clear up the confusion behind billing for time-based procedures and will even discuss an effective method to determine your fee schedule.

By the end of the presentation, amazed that Gregg kept you awake the entire time and made you laugh about billing and coding, you will have a much better understanding of the language of billing and coding and how to win both the battles and the war.
