The cervicothoracic spine & shoulder are two of the most difficult and most required regions to learn how to adjust. This presentation will review the basic biomechanics of these regions and the basics of adjusting them. Most of the seminar will be hands-on palpation and adjusting technique training.
Functional assessment of the cervicothoracic spine and shoulder gridle will be presented in this course as the foundation for the exercise prescriptions that will be taught in a hands-on format. The differential diagnosis of stability vs. mobility dysfunction will be reviewed as well as management of acute and subacute patients. The use of low tech in office exercises will be presented using elastic resistance and kinesiology taping. Upon completion of the course, the clinician will be able to apply these procedures into their practice immediately.
