Total Credits: 1

Dates

Description

The webinar will begin by highlighting the various risks associated with non-compliance, including risks specific to federal and New Jersey law. The webinar will specifically address unique challenges faced by chiropractors who receive reimbursement from federal programs, commercial insurers and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) carriers, with a particular focus on the increased corporate structure scrutiny from PIP carriers in recent years. The webinar will also highlight the Federal Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law and New Jersey’s Codey Law.

Following a risk overview, we will discuss the most pressing legal compliance concerns and hot topic areas anticipated for 2026. The webinar will include a discussion on MD/DC relationships, corporate practice restrictions in New Jersey, and a discussion on the pivotal Allstate v. Northfield case and its implications for chiropractic practices.

Additionally, we will discuss the use of Management Services Organizations (MSOs), outlining the limitations and best practices chiropractors should consider when structuring relationships with physicians and physician-owned entities.

The webinar will provide guidance and practical strategies to help New Jersey chiropractors safeguard their practices, maintain compliance, and be prepared for an inevitable PIP audit. After viewing the presentation, you will be equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to address the evolving landscape of legal and regulatory requirements at both the federal and New Jersey levels.

1 documentation/ethics CEU/ will be recorded.
