Dr. Ira A. Shapiro served as a member of the medical staff in 2004 and 2006 for the U.S. Olympic Teams. Additionally, he served as an attending sports chiropractor at the 2002 and 1996 Olympic Games, Pan-Am Games, World Games, Olympic Training Center, Gatorade Ironman Triathlon World Championships, U.S. National Collegiate Taekwondo Championships, U.S. Figure Skating Championships, and US Track and Field Championships. Dr. Shapiro has served on the BOD of both The American Chiropractic Board of Physicians (ACBSP) and The United States Sports Chiropractic Federation (USFCF). He is the ACA Sports Chiropractor of the Year and Dr. Shapiro was inducted into the NJ Sports Council Hall Of Fame in 2016 and in 2017 became the 11th inductee into the ACA Sports Council Hall of Fame.
